Transcendence…
Transcendence is a visual narrative which asks us to look beyond the reality of the photograph(s) as a recorded document, but rather to have it seen as a visual journey into the revelation of self.
I use an aerial perspective to create a juxtaposition between the immense landscapes and its rivers, in causing tension between reality and metaphor. This body of work asks us to move beyond one’s understanding of what is but to instead allow one’s own internal manifestations, and emotions, to help define what it might be.
Through this work I hope to raise deeper questions about humanity’s own existence on the planet.
