CONSUME
In the Summer of 2023 I photographed a variety of stories that sold first and second-hand items in and out of my neighborhood. Many interesting ideas arose looking more closely at how we relate to the places we shop and the different ways we consume things. The massive amounts of new products and the ones that are recycled illuminated a system we are all apart of evoking feelings of sadness as it stems from necessity and wastefulness. It left me thinking about the debt that most Americans are in and the super powers behind mass production and consumerism.
