Complexity in Simplicity
Flowers and foliage demand our attention with vibrant hues, but when stripped of their coloration a new dynamism emerges. Nature’s subtler eloquence is expressed in lines, curves and shadows. An inner glow is perceived when the lights are dimmed.
Like snowflakes, when observed closely natural forms reveal great complexity hidden behind seeming simplicity. Visual encounters between like-minded forms are an inspiring dance of line and light. A familiar form takes on new layers of meaning. It is that new meaning I wish to express in this collection of images.
