Join Ric as he takes you step by step through his tried and proven techniques. Learn how to create eye-catching, and more importantly, revenue-generating product photography.
This class is for amateurs and advanced photographers who want to fine-tune their skills with tabletop photography. Ric will be using CaptureOne tethered to his computer for all to see.
You will need an SLR or a high-quality adjustable mirrorless camera and know how to shoot in MANUAL mode and RAW.
Bring your camera, lens, good batteries and your CF or SD cards.
· Review the many exciting simple-to-find backdrops from paper to glass and rolls of fabric.
· Foam board will be your new friend. Black, white and colors. When and why?
· The best white backdrop that you will ever own is at Home Depot. Promise.
· How to work with available light, if you can find it. How to control and shape it?
· How to use Profoto strobes (and others) with light modifiers.
· When hot lights are required and why?
· How can Mirrors be so handy in tight lighting quarters?
· When to add black to cut out the reflections and milky white reflections?
· Best lens? When and why?
· Side light, back light, front light, who cares just make it look saleable and good!
