Anthony Consillio

My eyes are drawn to saturated colors and the dancing lights and shadows that move throughout the day. I’m led on a journey as I chase the light from street to street, waiting for the right characters to enter the stage. In my images I have always felt that the background was the main actor and people played a supporting role. Camera in hand I go out to document life as I see it — unstaged and organic. I am a firm believer of taking an authentic photo — not making a photo or manipulating images. The less time I’m processing photos means more time on the street — getting the image.
